Programs Sticks & Strings group is meeting the 3^rd Monday of the month, book club, Coups for Troops (coupon clippers), game night -1^st Monday of every month, Computer Basics Class last month – July has Computer Basics and GoodReads, Arts Alive – voting started June 1^st and continues through Sept. 14^th (we have 256 votes), Maker's Camp ending, glass fusing (huge sucess, may do this again later in the year),

Publicity Up to 60 likes on Facebook, new logo as our brand is on the website and will be everywhere, letters to the editor, several stories in the Globe

Meetings, workshops, etc Advisory Council Meeting (LLC), Emerging Leaders Program Orientation Meeting, Monterey Township meeting, Overdrive Training, Michigan Fiber Fest Scholarship Classes

Building Issues broken door

Budget Issues none

Library Closings September 1-3 for Labor Day Weekend

Volunteers 21 people have signed up for the Friends of the Library group so far and their next meeting will be Oct. 8th, donated books still coming in (slowly)

Lakeland, State other library news none

Patron comments and suggestions continued book suggestions

Other MLA award - Up and Coming Librarian of the Year, possible casino program funds, applying for two other grants, asking for corporate donations, circulation up, reminder vacation in Sept., Library director evalutation forms on website, need a budget hearing in Sept., finance series, planning for holiday tree/wreath decoration
