Programs Fiber group is meeting the 3^rd Monday of the month, book club, coupon clippers, nutrition group met, Story hour finished up, starting gaming night after school program 1^st Monday of every month – putting this in the summer reading program, Computer Basics Class and Computer Refresher Class last month – May has Computer Refresher and Facebook Overview, LoC books are beginning to come out with the rest coming back from cataloging soon, secret project, Arts Alive, mother’s day card creation event coming up, and the end of the logo contest (May 31), book sale/plant exchange, finishing up SRC program

Publicity Globe stories, up to 40 likes on Facebook, and 20 members of the Friends group, just joined ‘four square’, two new websites I’m administrating and setting up ‘Sharing Library Ideas’ and the ‘Allegan County Library Association’, book marks for SRC out to all three schools and at library

Meetings, workshops, etc ACLA meeting, MeL database webinars, Rural Library Conference, May 11^th Adult Services Round Table, will be attending Monterey and Watson township meeting in June

Library Closings Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday and Monday)

Volunteers 20+ people have signed up for the Friends of the Library group so far and their next meeting will be May 7^th, donations of yarn and wool roving for an event later in the year, donated books still coming in, might have NHS students helping with the book sale/plant exchange

Lakeland, State other library news none

Patron comments and suggestions some summer reading club suggestions

Other Still working on completing USF fund applications and getting bids for internet/telecommunication services (library of Michigan will have a training on this in June), still looking for more recipes and logos, getting quotes for a building repair grant, circulation stats continuing to rise, we won a grant for programs and friends group got a grant for start up money, ?post manual on website? Or parts
