Programs Fiber group is meeting the 3^rd Monday of the month, book club, coups for troops (coupon clippers), game night -1^st Monday of every month – putting this in the summer reading program, Computer Refresher and Facebook Overview Class last month – June has Etsy/Pintrest Overview and Computer Basics, LoC books are mostly out and only a few are still in cataloging, secret project - overview, Arts Alive – voting started June 1^st, the end of the logo contest (May 31) – logos for voting for the library board, overview of programs planned for Summer Reading Club

Publicity Globe stories (yarn bomb, millage…), up to 49 likes on Facebook, and 20 members of the Friends group, just joined ‘four square’, interview on channel 13, story in the Grand Rapids Press, in the Allegan County News, millage language finished and distributed

Meetings, workshops, etc MeL database webinars, Monterey and Watson township meeting in June

Building Issues broken door and toilet

Library Closings Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday and Monday)

Volunteers 20+ people have signed up for the Friends of the Library group so far and their next meeting will be June 2^nd, donated books still coming in, might have NHS students helping with the Summer Reading Club events, 4^th of July events discussion

Patron comments and suggestions some summer reading club suggestions

Other Cookbook finished and just awaiting new logo, still looking for more recipes for next year’s cookbooks, getting quotes for a building repair grant and new bike rack out front paid for by DDA, circulation stats continuing to rise, plans for next year's secret project are in the works

New Business Policy - adding a clause to hiring "New staff (hired after the creation of hte district library) will be subject to background checks as part of the hiring process."
